Birch Tree (2021)
Birch Tree is about the concept of home and what it means to me. Since I am half Finnish/half Belgian and lived in three different continents (moving in a total of 14 times by the time I turned 16), I did not understand the meaning of a home, since it was never connected to a place.
After living in Belgium for 8 years and not feeling like I belonged there, I decided to head back to the place where I felt the closest connection to "home": nature in the Scandinavian forests.
This is my raw experience of finding "home" and my journey towards it.
